WWE legend Bill Goldberg officially announced his retirement from the WWE next year, 2025. Goldberg was a guest on SEC ESPN Network on Saturday, November 2, for the Georgia Bulldogs vs. Florida Gator Football match when he announced his last match.

Goldberg’s recent involvement with the WWE had fans and the WWE Universe speculating on an upcoming return.

Current WWE Champion Gunther first mentioned Goldberg during an in-ring promo against Bret ’The Hitman’ Hart when WWE hosted RAW in Calgary, AB, on September 9. Then, on October 5 at WWE Bad Blood, Goldberg, sitting ringside with his son Gage, jumped the guardrail to confront Gunther after being called out in front of a live audience.

And during today’s announcement, Goldberg alludes to Gunther being next.

Will Goldberg return to WWE?

It looks like Goldberg is headed back to the WWE one last time. No date has been announced, and we don’t know the volume of appearances Bill will see in this upcoming ‘Goldberg retirement tour’ if that’s what we call it. However, if that is the case, it does overlap John Cena’s farewell tour, also slated for next year, so who knows if we see the two of them clash.
