Ricochet made a surprise appearance at NJPW Power Struggle by attacking IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Zack Sabre Jr.

Zack Sabre Jr. defended his Heavyweight Championship against Shingo Takagi during the main event in front of a sold-out audience at the EDION Arena Osaka in Osaka, Japan, before Ricochet came from the audience and hit Sabre Jr. with a springboard clothesline.

Ricochet, currently signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) since leaving the WWE earlier this summer after deciding not to renew his contract, hasn't been in New Japan Pro-Wrestling since 2017.

Zack Sabre Jr. and Ricochet are scheduled to face off against each other at AEW x NJPW Wrestle Dynasty on January 5, 2025, at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.
