Sill Praying - Westside Gunn

Westside Gunn's recent album, Still Praying, heavily references his professional wrestling fandom. Tracks include titles and/or cameos from former WWE ring announcer Justin Roberts, AEW's Dr. Britt Baker and Max Caster.

Westside Gunn also wrote and produced The Hurt Syndicates' newest entrance theme song. They recently debuted on All Elite Wrestling after a successful run with the WWE under their former stable name, The Hurt Business.

The manager of the group MVP, also known as Montel Vontavious Porter during his time in the WWE, tweeted out the link to their new song, which is now available on Spotify.

Westside Gunn's 4th Rope Wrestling

On November 2, 2024, Westside Gunn fulfilled his lifelong passion for professional wrestling by launching Fourth Rope Wrestling (4th Rope), his own wrestling promotion.

The event, Heels Have Eyes III, was hosted in Chicago, Illinois, at the UIC Forum. As noted on their website, 4th Rope is a blend of Hip-Hop, Wrestling, Art, and Culture.

Several notable wrestling talents appeared, including Jordynne Grace (TNA Knockouts World Champion), Sami Callahan, Nick Gage, Moose, Joe Hendry, Masha Slamovich, AJ Francis, and Santana.

Zilla Fatu, a fourth-generation wrestler of the famous Anoaʻi family, defeated TNA's Moose to become the first 4th Rope Heavyweight Champion.

Westside Gunn also released a merch line through 4th Rope, with many of the apparel pieces having custom artwork of Sid Eudy, Joe Hendry and more.

Hopeful WWE Hall of Fame induction for Sycho Sid

Before his passing earlier this year, Sid Eudy commented on why he hasn't been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, saying,

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story You’d think that they would offer that. Again, Vince [McMahon] didn’t like me so much; I think that’s why they haven’t offered me that. But, with Vince being gone now, you’d think those people would say, ‘Hey, this guy, we still got him on contract. He is still making a little bit of money. It would help him if we did that’, and it would help them as well. You would think they might want to do everything they could to promote something like that.
— Sid Eudy

Now that we are on the road to WrestleMania 41, which will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, April 19-20, 2025, it would be good to see Sid Eudy finally get the Hall of Fame induction he so deserves.
