Former Executive Producer of WCW Eric Bischoff gains Creative Control for MLW Wrestling

The host of the pro wrestling podcast 83 Weeks, Eric Bischoff, announced during a special edition episode of Wise Choices on YouTube that he will take the reigns at Major League Wrestling (MLW) for one night only at their upcoming One-Shot event on December 5, 2024.
Bischoff, the former Executive Producer and Senior Vice President of WCW wrestling, who helped Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling promotion defeat sports entertainment juggernaut WWE (then-WWF) for 83 weeks straight during the infamous Monday Night Wars, will have total creative control over MLW during their December event in New York City.
The event will be broadcast live from the Melrose Ballroom in NYC and will be free for fans to watch on YouTube, giving audiences everywhere a front-row seat to Bischoff’s first-ever wrestling event promoted in New York City. As MLW mentions, “a place that, during the historic Monday Night War, was considered enemy territory.”
