Kenny Omega to Return at NJPW Power Struggle for Special Guest Appearance

New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) has officially announced that Kenny Omega will make a special guest appearance at their upcoming Power Struggle event, which is set to take place at EDION Arena in Osaka. The announcement excites pro wrestling fans, eager to see what Omega's involvement could mean since his dismissal from the in-ring performances after his health concerns earlier this year.
Where is Kenny Omega?
Since his December 2023 diagnosis with diverticulitis, a condition affecting his intestinal tract, Kenny Omega has been recovering after surgery. Omega had approximately 25 centimetres of his colon removed, causing significant weakness in his abdominal muscles. Despite these challenges, Omega has been making strides in his recovery. Although his in-ring return for AEW is still uncertain, his appearance at NJPW's Power Struggle could mean he is getting closer to returning to the spotlight.
NJPW Power Struggle Schedule
The NJPW Power Struggle event is on November 4, 2024, at EDION Arena in Osaka. The main event includes a match between Zack Sabre Jr. and Shingo Takagi for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. With Omega set to appear, the event will set the stage for NJPW's biggest show at the Tokyo Dome in January.
