Rhyno to be inducted into TNA Hall of Fame at Countdown to Bound For Glory

Former ECW & WWE legend Rhyno receives TNA Hall of Fame selection.

Announced earlier today from Total Nonstop Action Wrestling via Twitter/X, 49-year-old Impact Wrestling superstar Rhyno will be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame at Countdown to Bound For Glory on October 26.

Beginning his pro wrestling training in 1995 at the Can-Am Wrestling School in Windsor, Ontario, under Scott D'Amore, Terrance Guido Gerin debuted for Paul Heymans Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) in 1999 under the ring name Rhino Richards. Rhino would end up being the final ECW World Heavyweight and World Television Champion when the company closed its doors in April 2001.

Gerin signed a contract with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) shortly after, debuting on the March 19, 2001 episode of Monday Night Raw. His last appearance on WWE television was at an ECW reunion pay-per-view marketed and produced by the WWE called One Night Stand in 2005.

Rhino would then debut for TNA Wrestling for the first time in July 2005 at No Surrender, hitting NWA World Heavyweight Champion Raven with the Gore. His first departure from the promotion came in 2010, with his first return at Impact Tapings in 2014 and his second at Slammiversary XVII in 2019.

Congratulations to Rhino for his induction into this year's TNA Hall of Fame.
