After the run-in with McMahon at the airport on their way home, Matt & Nick Jackson captioned the shot with some cryptic text, saying, "Interesting flight today." This further speculates about Shane-O-Mac's future in AEW after rumours have been circulating for months.
Shane McMahon's Previous Meeting with Tony Khan
In July, McMahon had a highly publicized meeting with AEW President Tony Khan, which led many fans to believe he might be exploring opportunities with the company. Following the meeting, Shane McMahon issued a statement saying they discussed "many things," including their shared love for pro wrestling and the unique challenges and rewards that come with working in a family-run business.
While McMahon didn't confirm any specifics about potential plans, he did mention that it was a "great meeting." Conversely, Khan stated that he "really enjoyed" talking with Shane and hinted at mutual respect between the two.
