During a interview with Kayfabe Friends and C.A.C. TV (Cauliflower Alley Club), pro wrestling icon Sting talks about the new multi-year licensing deal he signed with AEW. When asked what's next for Sting, Borden answered, "Well, you know, I signed a multi-year deal with AEW, obviously not to wrestle anymore. It's a licensing deal, or a legends deal if you want to call it that."

The recently retired Sting, whose last match was at AEW Revolution on March 3, 2024, has stayed relatively lowkey and away from the spotlight in typical Sting fashion. His first post-retirement appearance came at AEW All In on August 25, 2024, saving previous tag team partner Darby Allin from Jack Perry and The Elite (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson of The Young Bucks).

Sting vs Undertaker at Wrestlemania?

Near the end of the interview, host The David Difference asked Borden a question all pro wrestling fans have wanted over the years, "for everybody that still wants the Taker vs Sting, that's not going to happen at WrestleMania or anything of that nature? Sting was quick to meet him with the answer "No."
