Kenny Omega Addresses Will Ospreay’s Claims of Being the Best in AEW
Kenny Omega vs Will Ospreay, who is the greatest professional wrestler today? The Best Bout Machine himself addressed Ospreay's bold claims of being the best pro wrestler in the world since joining AEW. During a recent Twitch stream, Omega, a two-time Pro Wrestling Illustrated's (PWI) Wrestler of the Year winner, shared his thoughts. Known as The Belt Collector, Omega didn't hold back, discussing Ospreay's ascent and the opinions of wrestling critic Dave Meltzer.

In his stream, Omega emphasized that The Wrestling Observers Dave Meltzer's 5-star rating system is merely one person's opinion and took a moment to remind his audience that he was the one who 'broke' the rating system long before Ospreay was hailed as Meltzer's new favourite. Omega's legendary match against Kazuchika Okada at New Japan Pro Wrestling's (NJPW) Dominion 6.9 in Osaka-jo Hall remains the only match ever awarded a 7-star rating by Meltzer, solidifying Omega's status as one of the greatest in-ring performers of all time. This match saw The Cleaner Kenny Omega win the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.
