In Times Square, New York, a billboard featuring late pro wrestling legend Sid Eudy surfaces. The tribute, linked to hip-hop artist Westside Gunn’s Still Praying album, celebrates Sid’s legacy while Gunn expands his passion for pro wrestling.
Sid Vicious billboard emerges in Times Square in New York City
Multiple sources shared on Twitter/X today a billboard in New York City Times Square of Sid Eudy, a former pro wrestling legend best known for performing under the ring names Sid Vicious and Sycho Sid. Eudy, who was 63 years old, passed away earlier this year.
The billboard photo of Eudy is the cover art for hip artist Westside Gunn's recent album, Still Praying, released on November 1, 2024.
Sill Praying - Westside Gunn
Westside Gunn's recent album, Still Praying, heavily references his professional wrestling fandom. Tracks include titles and/or cameos from former WWE ring announcer Justin Roberts, AEW's Dr. Britt Baker and Max Caster.
Westside Gunn also wrote and produced The Hurt Syndicates' newest entrance theme song. They recently debuted on All Elite Wrestling after a successful run with the WWE under their former stable name, The Hurt Business.
The manager of the group MVP, also known as Montel Vontavious Porter during his time in the WWE, tweeted out the link to their new song, which is now available on Spotify.
Westside Gunn's 4th Rope Wrestling
On November 2, 2024, Westside Gunn fulfilled his lifelong passion for professional wrestling by launching Fourth Rope Wrestling (4th Rope), his own wrestling promotion.
The event, Heels Have Eyes III, was hosted in Chicago, Illinois, at the UIC Forum. As noted on their website, 4th Rope is a blend of Hip-Hop, Wrestling, Art, and Culture.
Several notable wrestling talents appeared, including Jordynne Grace (TNA Knockouts World Champion), Sami Callahan, Nick Gage, Moose, Joe Hendry, Masha Slamovich, AJ Francis, and Santana.
Zilla Fatu, a fourth-generation wrestler of the famous Anoaʻi family, defeated TNA's Moose to become the first 4th Rope Heavyweight Champion.
4th Rope Merch
Westside Gunn also released a merch line through 4th Rope, with many of the apparel pieces having custom artwork of Sid Eudy, Joe Hendry and more.
Hopeful WWE Hall of Fame induction for Sycho Sid
Before his passing earlier this year, Sid Eudy commented on why he hasn't been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, saying,
Now that we are on the road to WrestleMania 41, which will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, April 19-20, 2025, it would be good to see Sid Eudy finally get the Hall of Fame induction he so deserves.
History of Ric Flair's Wildest Outbursts in Wrestling
Relive Ric Flair's craziest and most unforgettable promos that defined his career as one of pro wrestling's greats. From the "Golden Spoon" promo to the infamous "Woo off" against Jay Lethal in TNA, here are three of The Nature Boy's wildest moments on the mic.
Best Moments of The Nature Boy Ric Flair's crazy promos
WWE Hall of Famer and former 16-time World Champion The Nature Boy Ric Flair has no shortage of crazy moments during his 50-year career in pro wrestling.
Flair was born to entertain and lived up to every word he shouted each week while being interviewed during televised promos.
The limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin' n' dealin' son of a gun has given us endless moments, but here are 3 of our favourite Ric Flair wildest outbursts.
Thank you to our sponsor, Crazy Vodka, for supporting this article.
Born with a Golden Spoon Promo
World Championship Wrestling, November 13, 1987
Ric had a way of captivating fans on the microphone since early in his career. The Nature Boy character was everything opposite of what the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) was presenting with their top star, Hulk Hogan, and Flair made sure you knew it.
Custom made since day 1, Flair has been reminding fans since his early days in Jim Crockett Promotions & World Championship Wrestling that he was born with a golden spoon, and he wasn't embarrassed by it, and as he would say, "If you don't like it, learn to love it."
Stripped Down Promo
WCW Monday Nitro, December 28, 1998
At the height of WCW wrestling in the late '90s, the attention always seemed to be directed towards the popularity of the New World Order (NWO). However, one of the more underrated weekly segments was the ongoing feud between Eric Bischoff and Ric Flair.
The animosity for one another spilled out from behind the scenes to the other side of the curtain, but this brought out certain emotions during Ric Flair's promos that made them feel so real.
One of Ric Flair's craziest moments came during an episode of WCW Nitro during an in-ring segment with Mean Gene Okerland, where Flair stripped down to his boxer shorts in the ring after throwing his alligator loafers into the crowd.
Wooooo off with Jay Lethal
TNA iMPACT! June 17, 2010
A segment that no one saw coming at the time but is now regarded as one of Ric Flair's funniest promos during his career is the infamous Wooooo off with Jay Lethal in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.
Jay Lethal, who at the time was impersonating the Nature Boy character, got Flair so fired up in the ring that it had him throwing his loafers, dropping phantom elbow drops on nothing, and yelling his signature Wooooo's at the top of his lungs you would expect anyone to pass out from.
Where is Ric Flair Today?
While Flair sporadically makes appearances globally for various fan engagements, today he is working to promote his companies, Ric Flair Drip and Wooooo! Energy.
Ric Flair Drip is a hemp-derived cannabis and consumables brand that is available nationwide, and Wooooo! Energy is a collection of sparkling mushroom elixirs made with natural antioxidants, nootropics, and caffeine.
And in the words of the Nature Boy, "To be the man, you gotta beat the man!" Wooooo.

The Best & Worst of Halloween Havoc
Relive the best and worst moments from WCW Halloween Havoc, featuring legendary bouts like Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio, and infamous disasters like Hogan vs. Warrior.
We are only a few days away from WWE's annual PLE (Premium Live Event) NXT Halloween Havoc 2024, which will take place live in Hershey, Pennsylvania, on October 27th.
Originally produced by World Championship Wrestling between 1989 and 2000, this pay-per-view has experienced many highs and lows throughout its history. So, let's look back at some of the best (and worst) moments of WCW Halloween Havoc.
BEST - Rey Mysterio Jr vs Eddie Guerrero, WCW Halloween Havoc 1997.
WCW Cruiserweight Championship vs Mask Match.
You cannot talk about Best of Halloween Havoc without mentioning the infamous match between WCW Cruiserweight Champion Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio Jr.
The match between a young Guerrero (30) and an even younger Mysterio (22) is considered one of the best of all time. Mysterio would win the match and capture the WCW Cruiserweight Championship while styled in his now infamous 'Phantom' ring gear.
WORST - Hollywood Hogan vs The Warrior, WCW Halloween Havoc 1998.
The match between Hogan and Warrior is considered one of the worst in Halloween Havoc and professional wrestling history. It was so bad that Wrestling Observer Newsletter editor Dave Meltzer awarded this match minus five stars out of five (the lowest ever for a WCW match).
Hogan vs. Warrior II was nothing that fans or WCW expected, especially compared to their previous bout in 1990 at WrestleMania VI, in which The Ultimate Warrior defeated Hulk Hogan for the WWF Championship.
BEST - Goldberg vs Diamond Dallas Page, WCW Halloween Havoc 1998.
WCW World Heavyweight Championship Match.
Following the disastrous Hogan vs. Warrior match was the main event between Goldberg vs. DDP for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, considered one of Bill Goldberg's best matches.
The caveat is that the pay-per-view had a runtime of 3.5 hours rather than the allocated 3 hours, causing the event feed to black out to pay-per-view buyers at home just as DDP and Goldberg were about to lock up.
The WWE Vault YouTube channel recently broadcasted the Halloween Havoc event, leaving in the blackout as it was broadcast live in 1998.
WORST - Abdullah the Butcher, Cactus Jack, Scott Hall & Vader vs El Gigante, The Steiner Brothers & Sting, WCW Halloween Havoc 1991.
Chamber of Horrors Match.
A four-on-four fiasco inside an electrified steel cage. This match aims to put your opponent in an electric chair.
Do we need to say anymore?
BEST - Cactus Jack vs Vader, WCW Halloween Havoc 1993.
Texas Deathmatch.
This match is a violent brawl between two of the most recognized 'toughest' pro wrestlers ever. Of course, Foley takes bumps that make you question how his career went on for as long as it did.
If you can find the match, we recommend watching these beasts borderline kill each other in and out of the ring. Due to the graphic nature of the match, WWE doesn't share it online through their social networks.
NXT Halloween Havoc 2024.
This weekend will mark the 4th Halloween Havoc under WWE's NXT brand after reviving the annual event in 2020.
The match card for this weekend's event will see NXT Champion Trick Williams defend his title against Ethan Page in a Devil's Playground match.
Also, North American Champion Tony D'Angelo takes on challenger Oba Femi in a Tables, Ladders, and Scares match.
What Are Bret 'Hitman' Hart's Best Matches in WWE?
Bret Hart reveals his two favorite WWE matches.
Recent Bret Hart Interview Asks The Hitman What His Best Matches Are.
Bret 'Hitman' Hart, often hailed as the Excellence of Execution, has had a Hall of Fame career in WWE, spanning decades and leaving a lasting mark on the world of pro wrestling. During a recent interview with Justin Dhillon of The Wrestling Classic, held at the Vancity Card Show in Vancouver, Bret Hart was asked about his favorite matches during his career.
Without hesitation, The Hitman named his matches against Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania 13, and his 60-minute Iron Man match against Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 12 as his top favourites. Fans still talk about these two matches today, solidifying Hart's slogan as the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.
Bret Hart vs Stone Cold WrestleMania 13
No Disqualification Submission match
The match between Bret Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania 13 is often regarded as one of the greatest in pro wrestling history. This classic featured a double turn—Austin became the crowd favourite while Hart transitioned into a more villainous role. The brutal, bloody encounter ended when Austin, locked in Hart's sharpshooter, passed out from the pain but refused to tap.
Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart WrestleMania 12
Iron Man match for the WWF Championship.
The WrestleMania XII Iron Man match between Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart was an epic, hour-long battle. Fought under the stipulation that whoever scored the most falls in 60 minutes would win, the match saw both men fail to score a pinfall or submission within the allotted time, forcing it into sudden death over time. Michaels eventually secured the win, winning his first WWF Championship.
Bret Hart's matches against Stone Cold and Shawn Michaels remain two of the most iconic in WWE history. These matches are an example of Hart's dedication to the art of professional wrestling and his ability to elevate his opponents while staying true to his persona.
From the gritty, real-life tension of the Montreal Screwjob, which shook the foundation of then-WWF, to his pivotal role in helping launch the Attitude Era by elevating the character of Stone Cold Steve Austin, Bret Hart's influence on the world of pro wrestling is undeniable.
As the Excellence of Execution continues appearing at events throughout 2024, fans are always eager to hear from the legend. What are your favorite Bret Hart matches? Let us know your thoughts and how they compare to his two favourite matches during his career.
The Final Boss Returns
The Rock returns at WWE Bad Blood, potentially teasing a showdown with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41
OTC vs The Rock at WrestleMania 41?
This past weekend at WWE Bad Blood, The Rock made his much-anticipated return after the main event match that saw Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns defeat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.
The deep-rooted Bloodline storyline is a gift that keeps on giving within the WWE Universe. Since The Tribal Chiefs' departure from the WWE after losing the WWE Universal Championship to The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, Bloodline 2.0 has received a mixed reception from WWE fans.
The Rock's return wasn't the only surprise the WWE had in store at Bad Blood. Former WWE RAW & SmackDown Tag Team Champion Jimmy Uso also made his long-awaited return.
FINAL BOSS. ENGAGED.
After the credits of WWE Bad Blood, The Final Boss took to his 395 Million followers on Instagram to deliver a classic Rock promo, further teasing events to come.
Triple H shares his thoughts.
During the WWE Bad Blood Press Conference, Triple H, the Chief Content Officer, shared his thoughts on The Rock's return.
WrestleMania 41 Predictions
Even though we're still months away from the official start of 'WrestleMania' season, which traditionally is considered to start after the Royal Rumble, it's hard not to think that The Rock's recent return is the first tease to long-waited matchup against the O.T.C Roman Reigns. A match that we probably should've seen last year at WrestleMania 40 before the WWE Universe had other plans.
Earlier this year, on June 14, 2024, via ESPN, Dwayne Johnson was quoted saying.
WrestleMania 41 takes place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 19/20, 2025. Although we are still six months away from WWE's largest event of the year, and anything can happen before then, The Rock vs. Roman Reigns could potentially shape up to be the biggest main event match in WWE history.
The Last Time is Now
Cenation - Then, Now, Forever.
John Cena 2025 Farewell Tour
John Cena not only made his surprise return at WWE Money in the Bank 2024 earlier this year in Toronto, Canada, but he also shocked the WWE Universe by announcing that he will officially retire from the WWE in 2025.
When did John Cena start wrestling?
With an in-ring career spanning over two decades, Cena signed a developmental contract with the WWE (then-WWF) in 2001 after ending a bodybuilding career to begin his pro wrestling training in the late 90’s at Ultimate Pro Wrestling’s (UPW) Ultimate University. He would go on to help usher in WWE’s Ruthless Aggression era in 2002, which would see him become the top babyface and public face of the company for the next decade.
Will John Cena beat the record?
Cena is a record 16-time world champion, as recognized by WWE alongside ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair, but will we see him take the reigns of that record during his 2025 farewell tour?
Fans also speculate that we could see The Leader of the Cenation finally win the elusive WWE Intercontinental Championship for the first time in his decorated career. One thing is certain: WWE fans have learned never to say never, and John Cena will be there to remind them Never to Give Up.
What can we expect during the John Cena Farewell tour?
During his Money in the Bank promo, John mentioned that the 2025 Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania would be his last. He also mentioned during an interview with Collider while promoting Season 2 of Peacemaker that he will dedicate 2025 to the WWE and commit to around 36 appearances throughout the year.
While the WWE hasn’t listed any official dates for John’s retirement tour, pro wrestling fans worldwide know that ‘The Last Time is Now,’ and in 2025, in the words of John Cena, “After This, You Can’t See Me.”
The Champ is Here.
